Any picture you wish to edit over 800x800 pixels is covered in annoying watermarks. Tools are very limited and arent very helpful. The app is useless to me, may be worth the download if youre absolutely painfully bored.

The entire background is filled with a checkered pattern of the logo, waste of a download
covered photo with watermark, do not download
This app has been so dumbed down there is no way I would take a chance on purchsing the full version.
If you increase the size of your work area the Paint Pad Lite logo becomes a watermark that cant be covered or edited, rendering this version useless.
Paint pad lite watermark makes your project worthless. Also, all I needed to do was draw a translucent square and this app was incapable of making it work.
Unfortunately you are not able to do anything on this, increasing the work space and importing a picture… useless. This app does exactly the opposite of what it is suppose to do. 1 star for I really HATE it.
I downloaded this because I wanted an interface similar to idea sketch for i devices. I wanted to make a simple flowchart. Well, upon launching the app, I find out that there is a selection tool… that does not select objects. Also, you can’t move an existing square. At all. (REALLY?) The final frustration was getting my chart all plotted out, only to find that text is always placed BEHIND the squares, so you literally cannot make a square with text in it. I figure, I must just be dumb, so I click on the help menu, to be greeted with a blank page. No help, no control explinations, apparently no functionality at all other than drawing squares and circles, and typing text onto the background. Very frustrating. Completely useless. I’d give it zero stars if I could. I’d be livid if I paid for this.
They limit you to 800 pixel images to edit. I only wanted to put black over spots on an image. Not enough features to warrant considering upgrading to the full.
Watermarks anything over 500 x 500 pixels. I just spent an hour making a silly picture that I wont show anyone because of the watermark they warned me about AFTER I finished. Even if I liked the program I wouldnt pay $3 for it now.
It basically doesnt let you do anything until you upgrade the product. Dont waste the 30 seconds to download it.
Simple and easy to use. I used it to draw lines , words to some pictures in manuscript. It did work.
can’t edit anything over 900 pixels width or height… It asks you to pay to edit anything wider or higher than 900 pixels. What a joke and waste of my time. Don’t bother with this upsellware
Says the app is damaged and to delete and re-download which I did and it still did not work.
Don’t bother downloading this unless you want the Pain Pad Lite watermark on your image. Won’t let you save unless you purchase upgrade or accept watermark. I used Grab to do a screen capture which was fine for my purpose but would have had to start my image editing all over again if I needed a higher resolution image. BOO on this.
Sometimes you don’t need GIMP or Photoshop! I use Paint Pad Lite when I need to type some text on top of a screenshot, or draw arrows and circle something. That’s all. It is cripple-ware. But when it’s just what you need, the $2.99 is a small price to page for “activating” and turning off the watermarks.
The app will not close and it is not an option to quit the app preventing me from restarting, shutting down, or even turning off my computer. i tried updating the app to try to get it to close and I can’t update it because it wont close.
I bought this for a few dollars and it’s worth just that. Paint Pad Light isn’t the best, but I’ve used worse programs. There’s more I like than I dislike and it does everything I want with my photos such as add text and color. But if you want something like Photoshop, just get that. I don’t like Photoshop because it’s too much stuff. When it comes to paint stuff I like simple and that’s what this is, despite it’s many flaws, easy to use.
This is exactly the same app as another he has on the App Store. Both are worthless non-functioning pieces of junk that don’t do anything until you pay for the full version. And after you do, you’ll discover that it still doesn’t work as you would expect. Dishonest seller, apple should yank his developer access.
Wish there were a way to rotate images freely rather than just 90 degrees at a time. Also would be nice to have ability to make .eps format files (vector).
