Paint Pad Lite App Reviews

I love the simplicity of this app; its feature set is perfect for designing an iOS app icon. I’m far more productive on this app when it comes to designing my app assets than I am on other, more feature-rich applications. If you just want to get a nice looking icon for your app ASAP and don’t want a bunch of distracting bells and whistles, I reccommend giving PPL a shot.

What good is having a app that doesn’t open up? There are so many bugs, and I didn’t last one day with it. when I first installed it, it wouldn’t even open up!! but i’ll give you 2 stars for effort ;)

The fact that you compare your app to MSPaint tells a lot about your software quality criteria. But sorry, even MSPaint is better since it is useable. Yours is not. I will not mention that horrible backround in th light version, but what if you did revamp the user interface? Did you know that since 1984 the zoom in and out has a specific icon? That plus and minus sign are really odd. No selection tool. Why? The Text Tool is so cumbersome. Many many strange behaviours make that app a real punishement to use. The only good idea: transparency for the drawn objects. Would be great if the rest was better designed. Sorry, but I will surely not buy the full version.

This isn’t Photoshop, this isn’t GIMP. The author wants to provide some sort of Microsoft Paint clone and that’s exactly what this is. If you were looking for MS Paint get this. Anyone else, go and buy Photoshop, Corel Draw or download GIMP. Only drawback: I can’t copy-paste images from Word or PowerPoint into the program. Edit -> Paste stays gray.

i downloaded the app and first it worked great, i logged off and logged back on and now its frozen and i cant get it to close down which in result wont let me shut down my computer!:( definitly would not recommend for you to download!!:(

All I was looking for was a “lasso” feature so I could cut up a picture I drew. There was no easy to use “re-size” feature such as clicking the corner of my picture and moving my mouse to resize it. If someone does know where these feature are let me know, otherwise no-good. There is only one 5 out of 5 review for this thing and i gather it is the the creator of this thing. This also means I won’t buy the “full” version.

Puts watermark onto images and wants you to buy Paint Pad. How can the developer say that this app is free without mentioning about watermark on this page? Uninstalled!

it tells that there are watermarks only AFTER you have download it and installed!!! Guys you should tell us BEFORE about it, in the description, just a WASTE OF TIME if you are looking for a free app. IT´S OK FOR THOSE WHO WANTS TO TRY AND THEN PAY FOR IT, BUT YOU SHOULD TELL THESE THINGS!!!!

I understand a free version having a watermark, but its frustrating how the watermark on this program interferes with the program function.

Can you put a picture from iphoto into the box? if you cn can someone please tell me how? And also it shows up really small and it bothers me that it is so small. besides that I think all is good! :)

Ive seen a lot of lousy Paintbrush clones over the years, but this one takes the cake. Drawing performance is unimaginably poor, the watermark is crippling and obnoxious, spelling and grammar errors abound in the UI… I could go on, but Id rather not waste your time or mine on this disaster.

This is Demo not free, When you work with it and save image, it leaves horrible watermark making saved Image useless and it should be moved from free application page to Demo.

Adds a watermark if your image is over 500 pixels in any dimension--unless you pay to upgrade. There are free programs that dont do that. Check out Paintbrush (not on the App Store, it was last updated 2010 but works with Mountain Lion).

Whenever I try to save anything, it appears blank the next time I open it. Do not get this app, it is very buggy and lacks many needed tools, such as selecting, opacity editing, and more, although it is good if you are trying to just free-paint, and dont want to save it, so Im giving this a 1 star, because the making company really didnt bother to put much time into Paint Pad Lite.

Will put a watermark on your pictures if theyre too big. Who wants that? Not me. DOwnloaded and deleted withing 1 minute.
